SEASON OF THE WICH

Action fantasy movie SEASON OF THE WITCH. Postproduction and VFX realized in studio UPP. I spent approximately half a year on this project.

SEASON OF THE WITCH was my last film project with collaboration of studio UPP for about half a year. In the postproductive phase of the movie I worked again on digital surfaces and scenes completation. Starting with character texturing and finishing with buildings and environments. One of the demanding locations was a scene with a moat around a castle. In reality, there was no water. This scene was unusually filmed by two offset cameras for composing ultra wide panorama. My task was to place here CGI water and reconstruct reflections of the environment (for example a knight riding a horse across a bridge, walls etc.) with the use of 3D projection. Except the scene, other work was rutine and it was classical preparation for creation of materials and shaders. I didn´t participate on the finishing phase, because I started to work on another project.
